Box question and sweet as potatoes

We're considering implementing a new voluntary scheme for your home delivered boxes and would really value your feedback.  Although we feel that as a business we are doing all that we can to be as sustainable as possible and help look after the environment we are always looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint on the planet and would like you to help us. As you know your food arrives in a cardboard box that we have either up-cycled, is made from recycled cardboard or is sourced from a supplier that has a sustainable tree-planting programme in place. What we would like to do is get away from having to continually purchase new boxes that no matter how sustainably they have been produced still incur an energy cost in the manufacturing process and logistics of getting them from their source of tree felling to the end point.  Not to mention all the energy costs involved from using heavy machinery fuelled by diesel to fell trees and transport timber to the paper mill. Our proposal is that for willing participants we will give $1 to the Rainforest Foundation for each esky box that is left out on any given week.  Most people have an old esky box kicking around in the garage or under the stairs so why not put it to good use and help us reduce our carbon footprint along with knowing that a donation is going to the Rainforest Foundation to help buy and protect rainforest for us and future generations.   Feedback please!   Cheers, Al   Such a sweet potato Sweet potato is in these week's boxes again, and besides being really nutritious and delicious, because of their sweet flavour they're very versatile to use in all kinds of dishes - roasted, cooked, in salads, as chips, or as a dip! • 2 teaspoons of curry powder
